Family in the City

We have slowly bribed, drugged and begged members of our family to move to NYC and we are 1 sibling shy of having everyone ( we lost Brent to the land of Thai).  Most Sundays are "family days," and its been awesome.  Brent we are rubbing it in... is it working???

Whoa have we been bad about posting. And after looking through the photos on our camera, apparently we have been bad about taking pictures too.
Thanksgiving brought us to the midwest for a whirlwind but fun trip.  I didnt take pics of Grandma Molly's yummy thanksgiving dinner, or the fun had Grandp Craig and Grandma Marys and playing with Libby. And visits from highs school friends and their familiys- missed that too.  I did get a couple pics of visiting the Fenneman crew in Evansville and our visit to Missouri to see the Stokes side.  We had a great visit with Grandma Stokes who we dont get to see enough.

Charlie has two cousins named Anna ( one from the Fenneman side and one from the Stokes) and she loves them both. For the first time she is at the playing age. It was fun to see them together.

CM's 2nd birthday and Halloween!

 This girl knows how to bring on a Par-tay! Last weekend most of the family came in to spoil the girl. Followed by our annual fall party AND then Trick or Treating. Phew!  

(ps. The red mark on her nose is not part of the costume, poor babe took a nose dive down our cement garden stairs- but is all good bar the scab.)

 

The actual Birthday.  The big 2 year old-stats: 29lbs and 35inches- translation: still a string bean.

Brent and Tun made it in for a last minute visit before moving to Thailand.  We are going to miss these guys ( and doggie Mo) so much.  We are grateful for lots of time together the last year, and well shucks we will just have to go to Thailand again...

ITALY

Below our pics from our trip to Italy. Our first stop was Parma, where we stayed on a parmesian farm, then to Bologna and ended with the highlight- a visit to Bergamo where Josh got to cook in the kitchen with "Chef"were he was his student 10 years before.

Someone's gotta a brand new ride!

Charlie has never been so excited for ANYTHING! "My bike, My Bike" she kept screaming. All the kids in the neighborhood have these so she has been eyeing them and "stealing" them for awhile. This was her first go at it....

I was happy too having scored this baby used for $10! (I mean the bike, not the baby)

Montauk!

Brent,Tun and "Doggie Mo" made it cross country in their VW Bus (umm... van) mom flew in and we all headed to the end of Long Island to celebrate Mom's BIG 6-0! We stayed in the cutest beach house across from the ocean ( I somehow didnt get a pic).  Charlie wasnt sure what to do with her self with so many of "her people" in one place.  Josh was once again a super star with the cooking. The big celebration was a clam and lobster bake on the beach. It was well... "yummy."  It was an awesome time!

COLORADO!

We had 10 days in Colorado and it was AWESOME! We saw our best buds Ryan, Kathy and Otis "Baby O" Reed and had a great week with the family. More pics than post-able. Click on the below pic to see our album.
