Charlie putting Daddy to bed

Josh came home last night after working a long day and offered to take over putting Charlie down. Very sweet. 2 mins later I hear a snoring noise coming from the bed room. So funny! Poor Daddy! ( turn up your sound)

Charlie is 5 weeks!

Charlie had her 4 week check up earlier this week and we have a big healthy baby on our hands.

 She is in the 95th percentile in height and 90th percentile in weight.

Height: 22 3/4 inches

Weight:  10 lbs 13 ounces!

Thanksgiving

We had a great Thanksgiving in New York for Charlie's first.  Grandma and Grandpa ( Stokes) came to town and we had a low key dinner at home.  Our good friends, the Downies and the Reiffs dropped by to say hello. The food was DELICIOUS! We spent the rest of the long weekend relaxing in the cute town of  Easton, PA, a short car ride from the city.

The Many Faces of Charlie Mae

Our favorite past time is staring at Charlie and watching her many faces.   She is quite the the expressive lady.

THE OH SO POPULAR CHARLIE!

The Stokes and Fenneman families came to NYC to meet the little lady. There was lots of baby kissing and baby passing. There was also lots of good family bonding and food a-la Josh.          

She is here!!!

Charlie Mae Stokes came into the world on October 27th at 2:30 am. Weighing 8.26 lbs and was 21 inches long.
We were so excited to meet her, especially after the 46 hours of labor ( yep!). We labored at home, at the birth center and finally labor and delivery, and narrowly escaped a c section. She came out screaming and with a full head of hair. We were so happy and relieved to see her.
