Charlie's 4th Birthday Interview

4 year old

Its been a 364 day count down and the day was no disappoint! 

We love this gal . She is full of spirit, a little sassy, funny, so clever and creative. 

We celebrated with a pirate and princess party with some of her beaties at the playground next door.

The RU BU Is 1!

In one breath it's crazy to think that its been a year and in the other it seems like she's been here forever. We are all better for having sweet, sweet, Ruby in our lives.  Her constant smile is contagious, she squeeks with every ounce of her body when she sees her daddy and has dance moves that would make Beyounce jealous.
We love her deeply.

We had a BBQ at Brooklyn Bridge Park.  Josh grilled burgers and about 20 friends came to honor the Ru.

First cupcake EVER. She kept going "mmm. mmm. mmm."

Charlie soaked her clothes and the only extra clothes I had were Ruby's. Those are pants on Ruby.

Ru's one year stats are to come (grandmas!) I delayed her checkup because she had a cold.

First Day of Pre School 2013-14

CM started back to pre-school last week.  All has gone swimmingly.  She is in with a mostly new class and two new teachers but is in the same great co-op school.

11 month- Ruby!

If I can find the cord to our camera there is a lot to add to this month. We have had lots of fun in Indiana and Colorado. For now here is our sweet 11 month old. 

She is constantly exploring or eating. She is still always smiling and melting the hearts of every old woman in Brooklyn.  New devolpments: holding anything that sort of looks like a phone to her ears and saying "hi". She YELLS "mum mums" when she's hungry. Plays peek-a-boo.

AND she has two bottom teeth popping through and the top are days away! The 8 months of teething has been rough;)

10 months!!

I clearly remember Charlie's 10 month "photo shoot" being crazy. Ru's was no different- most of the photos were blurred or not even containing a baby because i was diving to save her from falling off the bed.
Needless to say she is on the go and busy. The last two weeks Ruby has changed so much. She pulls herself up into standing using anything she can. She does a real deal clapping of the hands (loves the song "if your happy and you know it")
AND we appear to have a talker. One day she just said "baby" (bay gee) to her doll and then doggy (ah gee)soon followed. Now we have "ught oh", a very clear "daddy" and "monkey (un key)
Yes, I know- baby genius.
